Description

This is the fourth fine art print created for the NODE Festival.
It is a seven colour print resulting from a chromatic decomposition of the work entitled “Centerpiece” by Natalia Trejbalova, which is being used as an image for the NODE Festival 2021.
The experiment started with a prescribed four-colour decomposition process (cyan, yellow, magenta, black) adapted to natural colours (pastel, turmeric, cochineal and a mixture of chlorophyll extract, indigo, madder, graphite), with the consolidation of an additional three levels: a second pass of pastel to obtain a more vivid tone of blue, a layer of chlorophyll extract to emphasize the green tones, and a level of cochineal in targeted areas to bring out some of the purplish details.
The final step is the one that reproduces the NODE and Medulla logo and is made of 44 kt gold leaf.
This fine art print therefore has eight levels of colour.
A total of 20 copies of the print were made, signed by the artist and numbered by the printing company.
